Perfect Day - Lou Reed (cover)

Youtube friend kjdavies suggested I do this one- thanks Kris. Perfect Day was wirtten by Lou Reed in 1972. Originally on Transformer, Reed's second post Velvet Underground solo album. He never released the song as a single but others did. It became more famous when it featured in the 1996 film Trainspotting and more so after its release as a charity single by Varoius Artists. This version went No.1 in 1997, 1998 and 2000. Reed re-recorded the song for his 2003 album The Raven.
