if a girl can hold the same standards as the men, let her on the field.

i have many female friends in iraq, on the ground, defending their brothers and sisters at arms.

one lost a hand, another received a bronze star for her actions on the field, saving the lives of men.

if you dont think women can take the heat, then ur obviously not looking hard enough

you guy's are stupid. its funny. women trying to prove there just as good as men oh brother. its sad that the women hating type of man, has stressed out women so much, that they feel like they havt to prove themselves. news flash women are just as smart, and just as strong. there kinda smarter though. @jayc342009 So you won't deny that some women are better suited for combat than some of the men in the military? Then why should some women be passed up by a negative stereotype if they cannot be promoted by a benign and positive stereotype?

Sorry if I'm incoherent, been a long while since I posted the initial comment that caused this conversation, ultimately it's simply that I support women in the military - if you oppose that then go set yourself on fire - if you don't then we can stop.

So if everyone is different than everyone else, and this is common knowledge, why are people so opposed to individual screening process in the military for all, instead of filters for women that prevent frontline service?

Why can't women understand..........Don't try to be like men.....it only shows your insecurities. Biologically both genders have their strengths and weaknesses. There is no shame in admitting that men are physically stronger. Arms are meant for men because no matter how strong a woman is, there'll always be a man stronger (physically) than her. Army posts for women are just tokens!!....

Funny - what makes you think that war is something only for men - if anything women have a higher ability to cope with tragedy than men do. People that are fighting for their countries are there because they WANT to be. I think women should be allowed to decide for themselves whether or not they wish to go through with such. Yet everyone is different - for instance the person who gave the impression that they were emotionally indestructable is crying while the woman is holding the-
