I love my country, but hate its reputation. It's a complicated little patch of land with an interesting history, that's for sure. It does have its problems, as all countries do, but makes up for it in so many other ways.

This is called trolling. Some people sout there like to post insulting answers and they expect receiving angry answers. they found it funny and entertaining.

There were an old saying on USENET don't feed the trolls. It happens everywhere on Internet and almost for anykind of topics. Don't read them, they aren't worth it.

belgium is a young country, but that doesn't mean there is no history before that ;) flemish history for example goes back a thousand years, with many magnificent buildings to showcase for it.

it's a pity really, that American culture is but 300 years old. Despite the fact that Belgium's independence was reached only in 1832, their architecture is magnificent! This was a constructive video =)

Sports: there's are many Belgians who were and still are worldchampions in cycling, motorcross, and many other sports. Nicer people? Like you? Not at all. Cold ultra-lefty Swedes with one of the blandest kitchens in Europe. Glaciers exude more warmth. Concerte block.. Yeah right, Brugge? Gent? What the hell is wrong with you people?

Sad that you have to knock other countries to feel better about yourself... And euhm, music export? Belgium has the most vibrant musicindustry of all of continental Europe (hint: check my account).
