  • man, Cheerwine was sold in Norway for like six months... i miss it so! :(

  • Really? That's kinda cool (that it was sold there). It's local here, sold mostly in the area around where I live. People up in the northeast and out west haven't heard about it, but someone in Norway drinking it. That's cool.

  • Cool stuff. You should try a bowl of ice cream mix + LN2, stir it up and you have instant ice cream.

  • We did that at a party later that week using a custard base. It was pretty good. I didnt post the video though.

  • isnt that toxic?

  • Not at all :) It's just nitrogen, which makes up a majority of the air that we breathe. Now, if we dont use it in a well ventilated area, the lack of oxygen could be harmful, but as long as you have ample space, you should be fine. The liquid is very cold, so you have to watch out for that, too.

  • @kblader101293 It's not a waste at all... Liquid nitrogen (or nitrogen in general) is non-toxic, odorless, colorless, tasteless, non-flammable, and really doesn't react with much of anything. Basically, eating anything cooled by liquid nitrogen is about as dangerous as drinking water.

  • Oh man, major nostalgia. Lived in NC all my life, and I remember as a kid my parents and I would always stop by a Mobil (I think) gas station to get a Cheerwine slushie."Can we stop for Cheerwine slushies?" "It's winter, it's too cold for that..." Yet we would stop anyway.

Nice memories. I miss being 7.
