This is one of the first comedy stories from Jerry Clower that I heard. It's from his very first album in 1971 called "Jerry Clower From Yazoo City, Mississippi Talkin". The particular album picture featured in the video is his 1976 release, The Ambassador of Goodwill. The 1976 album featured, among the many stories, the first appearance of "Wanna Buy a Possum?", which eventually became one of his famed stories in concert. However, none of the other routines from 1976's LP were kept in print.
