@BullhornJournal....But just calm down...I wont shoot at you anymore. I said what I had to say. Im glad you were so attentive. Besides I wasn't at that Rally and also my 100 lb German Shepherd doesn't need a gun like the dog on the video. I know his teeth would do far more damage than a .32 caliber pistol.

@Chuckousley I, actually, appreciate the Tea Party for its very democratic approach and see it for what it is in some ways: a popular movement of pissed off people trying to make America a better place. I'm also a proponent of a very wide reading of all of the amendments. All of them. I'm not a cheerleader for anyone. But waving a handgun around and threatening armed insurrection is counterproductive. Our country is in a very dangerous place. btw, the pen is more powerful than the gun, imho.

@Chuckousley I've started a blog. I'm hoping to have civil conversations with those I may disagree with because I believe that America is a better place than our pundits and politicians would have a casual observer believe. Please have a read and comment on different issues if you find them interesting. Let's get a conversation going. I actually believe that most of us agree on 90 percent of the issues and we're just being manipulated and abused by some powerful forces into attacking each other.

@BullhornJournal.....I thought it appropriate to berate you for this main reason. I will be specific and very significant. You see, the Alamogordo Tea Party came with loaded weapons. Loaded to prove their point. You arrived UNARMED. I thought investigative reporting was supposed to be powerful and to the point. Not any of your questions to the Tea Party were loaded with anything. You felt to me as if you were attempting to mock the Tea Party members. You made a fool of yourself.

@Chuckousley I certainly wouldn't call this investigative journalism. More a quick piece about a group of protesters. But, I've asked other posters, what is the point of this demonstration? Obama has offered no legislation to curb gun ownership, has in fact let many provisions of gun control die without any fight at all. So what's the point of standing on a street corner with a loaded gun, a flag shirt and a vehemently derogatory placard about the President?

I don't know if you've seen my previous comments but what really agitates me about this protest is how it is taking place in a military town which benefits greatly from bloated defense spending. If they are so concerned for their children's financial future, maybe they should've been questioning the cost of the Iraq war.

I do not believe that they stepped out to threaten armed insurrection. So why are there parades with people waving rainbow colored flags, why are there are Fourth of July, Veteran, Memorial, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and other parades? Answer that and that is why the Tea Party had this little get together. Its the same reason I have joined other organizations with similar thinking people.
