http://www.citizen.org Robert Weissman, president of Public Citizen, speaks at the June 4, 2010 protest at BP's Washington, D.C. offices. Weissman and other public interest groups called for BP CEO Tony Hayward to face charges for his company's negligence and reckless disregard for safety and the environment in the Gulf oil tragedy.
Both BP and Halliburton should be liquidated and all assets seized to pay for the years and years of cleanup, in addition to the top executives and on-site personnel responsible should immediately be arrested and charged with criminal negligence.
