I just finished watching Kai, and i stumbled upon a piece that was played mainly during flashbacks when Rika was talking about miracles and how everybody remebered some things

It goes humming like this one, but is somewhat more cheerful

im sorry i can't be more specific, but does anyone know what track im talking about? and perhaps have a link to it?

Describes not only the second season, but Higurashi as a whole very well. :)

its my fave OST of higurashi. its so calm and has such a beautiful melody and though its so sad... higurashi is just the best anime ever in my opinion

@SingleTriad The wind part from Kai and the piano part from Auriel's Ascension have the same first four notes. Other than that, completely different notes and apart from that the two songs are overall nothing alike.
