Soprano- Adrianna Rodgers
Johannes Brahms was a prolific German song composer during the nineteenth century. He incorporated elements of past musical styles, such as folk music and classical forms, with the styles popular for his era. Except for a few selections by Heine, Goethe and Tieck, Brahms often used poetry by lesser known poets, such as Hölty, and Grohe.
