The balloon release at yesterdays(10/16/10, Mesa, AZ) Walk to Remember for families who have lost a baby. October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant loss Remembrance Day. We walked for our son Jack Kendrick Johnson who was born too soon due to incompetent cervix on August 31, 2006, he lived strong for 4 hours and passed away September 1, 2006 in my arms. We Miss him Always, Love him Forever and will never let anyone Forget our amazing little angel.

  • The shocking part that should be obvious, but may not be, is that each of those balloons represent a baby who has died. Watch it again and take a look HOW MANY balloons there were! And those are just those who attended this Walk in Mesa, AZ. Also at least 100 balloons were accidentally let go through out the morning, before this release.

  • As I sat there and watched the number of balloons that filled the sky, I realized that just one was for Jack, tears fell uncontrollably while my brain tried to comprehend the amount of people just like Jory and I who have had their baby die! I saw all these parents there, but the impact didn't hit until I saw all those balloons soar into the sky.
