This is the first episode of Stargate Universe, and we have the incredible pleasure to see Amanda Tapping and Richard dean Anderson again on the sci fi world as the epic characters of Stargate SG1!... great ep, the effects are perfect!

I always thought it was "interesting" that the whole time she's giving her report, she calls him "General" when she first sees him, and then she never calls him "sir" or anything else.

The ships in the stargate franchise are horribly designed. A single shot on the shielding outside the hull itself and sparks fly in the cockpit, deeply embedded in the strongest part of the ship.

can you imagine if the original SG-1- O'Neill, Sam, Daniel, Teal'c, was on Destiny? all this silly inner-team fighting, cliques and 'groups' formed, disputing with each other how to deal with Lucian Alliance pirates trying to take the Destiny etc... O'Neill and Teal'c would be handling their business and shit would get done.

@CentrinoDoG See the thing is Sgu just sucked that is why it isnt on.Really your going to blame it on other tv crap! There are plenty of other shows on that are popular that isnt wrestling or ghost hunters!!!! Sgu was just a big mistake. They should have stuck to what they do best! Not some soap show in space with crappy characters that nobody cares about and a crappy ass story line that is dull very dull!SG1 and SGA are two of the best shows ever! WTF happend with SGU??

@iampotts02 The reason why SGU was cancelled is that sci-fi shows don't sell good but things like ghost hunters and wrestling do. that's why syfy kicked the show into the trashcan.
