  • @gmacdaddy100 Just watched the "kwik setup" vid ... I'm a noob but I believe he is going to have problems with wicking, in the event of protracted, heavy precipitation (rain storms). ... Thus far, my understanding is that all your linkage should be positioned well under your rain-fly and his putting the absel rings (and crab) , right next to the support tree, would almost ensure water wicking into his hammock. Putting the rings, and crab, at the hammock end makes more sense, to me.
