@Hnatisko I studied your wiring on the breadboard hoping to extract some schematic and compared some plans on the internet. I found two plans but they didn't match yours. Specially the led connections and the usb. I think you made a unique clone. Kudos Hnatisko!

It is clone of orgiginal programmer with reduced ablilities. There are two Atmega8. First as programmer and second as target device for test flashing.

No...it is not based on usbasp. It is AVRisp mkII Programmer clone. It has not all function of original programmer, but for flashing is so good. :D
