  • 'And we pray to god, that the horse is not THICK"

    xD

  • sorry to burst your fantasies but battle back then was about time and efficiency, if it took to long or was too risky they wouldnt do it, yes they would attack the HORSE and not the KNIGHT because its stupid trying to knock him off the horse when you can just kill the horse and hopefully break something of his on the way down, they used to have a method of using the swords, but mainly spears were used to stab into the neck, which stops the horse and causes it to spring up and fall down

  • What is better -this Great sword or the smaller 2handed german Longsword?

Imo the Longsword is lighter and faster and i myslef couldnt find many techniques with this greatsword around the net, so i'll prob gonna get myself a german longsword but wanted your oppinion first. Ty

  • I am curious as to who gave me the thumb down, i would like them to inform me if i am wrong in anyway as they never left a comment, i am always looking for new information and if you have any argument against what i have said about the demonstration, please dont hesitate to say. Thankyou

  • if i were u people, i wouldnt believe wot they are saying, by chance, if a horse happened to hit there swords, the inpact would break their legs. also, two people would never stand uo to a horse, so the technique moving to the side, must be when in a line, ok, now you can see it now, they all move to the side, and they hav just moved into the position of the person next to them, where a horse is about to hit. its a pitty i liked some of their vids, believing everything has let them down

  • They'll still be there over the next year.

  • Great stuff, im doing a school project on the Claymore, this'll help a lot. Thanks for posting.

  • THEY STILL WORK THERE!!! lol i saw them agesssss ago! :)

  • Very entertaining, thanks for posting.

  • Usually they are fighting at full speed, they had only to be careful because of DeFowler's broken fingers. I recommend you to find a fighting master or to get your hands on old fighting manuals by people like Hans Talhoffer (or, for later styles, Marazzo or Capo Ferro, just to name a few examples). Probably the local library can help. Good luck!
