Hey Mannik... yeah it does start... eventually.
The super long/over the top buildup is on purpose. The hope is the longer you stick with it the funnier/more absurd it becomes (esp. given the relative goofiness of what follows).
Of course, some people may just find it annoying so let me apologize to all of those folks right now: Sorry.
But even if you do hate it, we'd still happily take your support on the petition it mentions at the end.
