Sorry David is back! Remembering when he was first put out, I was upset thinking Sammy would make the band about him but he help to make it better. Eddie smiled more and that made me happy to see that wonderful smile on his face. Dave sucks and takes away from the true sound.

Sammy is honestly a better singer and i think i like sammy a little better than dave but the actual true sound, is daivd. the better sound is sammy. but dave is the origional so i cant be talken shit if its other than his voice.

The band sounds amazing here. Eddi is back on his game here and I am completely astounded by Wolfgang, that kid is good. His playing reminds me of Jack Bruce in a way. And Al is always great. I am very pleased to see Dave back. I got so tired of Sammy Hagar up there pimping his cabo wabo tequila. Welcome back Dave. Now go make a record guys.

@dabrunkoc you know all these people who think Sammy is better than Dave are truly truly ignorant individuals. for starters, Dave had the power in his voice to stay at the same level Ed did, especially when everyone knows how Ed got his sound back in the old days.When Sammy came around he had to change to a lesser amp. Peavey makes good stuff but not as good as Marshall. And he changed everything to match Sammy's voice. In my opinion it killed his tone, and he lost a lot of his versatility.

Both of these shows at the end of the tour in Chicago are probably the best Ed has played in yrs. Ed takes huge risks and tries licks he's never done on record before. He's doing stuff perfectly. He's still "that good". He still fills up 20,000 seat hockey arenas. They grossed $93 Million on this tour. They employed 75 roadies and drivers for 2 yrs. Van Halen is an economic stimulous package.

3 years ago today, May, 30, 2008 on a Friday night! I saw Van Halen at the Allstate Arena Chicago, IL Man, what can I say, probably the best Van Halen show on the whole tour! The energy was unbelievable! Eddie played his ass off and I was very Happy to see how Happy and sober Eddie was! The crowd was so fucking loud when David Lee Roth said "Look at all the people hear tonight!" Me and my friend were going fucking nuts the whole show! after the show we went to Denny's 1230am VAN HALEN THANK YOU
