This album, especially this song, is what made me a Ted Nugent fan. I was 11 yrs old when I first heard this and my whole world changed for the better. Today I'm 42 and it still gives me chills.

Yes, unconventional for Ted, hard to find info on the web about it. I would say it is Derek on lead vocals, but Cliff Davies, who played the vibraphone, and drums, might have been the man. Interesting, in that Cliff came over from the English band, IF, a totally different genre, filled with horns, saxes, etc. A great band- a little like Chicago, and the Canterbury scene, all rolled together.

very unconventional for ted...but strangely appealing as a song of his

who did vocals on this? doesn't sound like Dereck or Ted or even Meat Loaf for that matter.

@SeattleLA I'm jealous. Wish I was old enough to have done that. Kinda wish I lived when this stuff was popular to listen to.
this is a great song!

Possibly my favorite Ted Nugent song. I remember in the mid '70s listening to it, in my '64 Chevy, -yes on my 8 Track Player.
