  • Hey there. I also appreciate what you are trying to do. I am bipolar, and I have been going through it my whole life. At the moment I am at work doing a graveyard shift. The thoughts of suicide cross my mind alot, including while at work. I just want to say thank you for showing the bright side to life, or the "light at the end of the tunnel". You are a good guy. thanks.

  • Hello Fluffer5 Thankyou for your comment. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I worked the graveyard shift at one point in my life and boy was it hard for me. You are most certainly welcome I am glad to be here to help. I hopefully will be adding more videos here especially with the holiday season here alot of people have problems with depression. So keep your eyes open for me

    May God Bless you

    Bruce

  • I'm 52 years old, female, and have suffered all my life. I'm bipolar II. Believe me, I have to get through each day one day at a time. Even having a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter is not powerful enough to make me want to stick around sometimes, but I just hang in there. I just don't appreciate the gift of life.

  • thankyou for your comment. Just keep thinking about your daughter. I think to myself when I get down and out and problems get to me so that those problems are only something for us to solve and temporary. I can not believe the progress I have made and if I did what I wanted to years back boy the things I would be missing. God is being real good to me now. I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless

  • i have watched all your videos and wish you had more, it helps alot.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for posting this... You are helping people out there who are really lonely and sad by just showing that they are not alone... I was very sad tonight and thought about killing myself... i know it wont happen but at least i know i am not alone and can learn to cope

  • Thanks Bruce.

I am Bipolar II and am plagued by suicidal thoughts frequently. Also acted on them in the past and i find it hard to distract myself from them.

  • Dear Bruce, Bipolar Disorder is exactly like Diabetes in that there is no Cure. There is, however, periods of stability. Taking your medication exactly as prescribed is as essential as insulin is to a diabetic. You will always be bipolar but you can be in remission just as a diligent Diabetic can keep their blood sugar in check.

  • Dear fluffer, Shift work, particularly nights can make depression worse! Make sure you get plenty of sunlight. Also, Keep you bedroom real dark while you do sleep! Above all else let your doctor know!!!

  • Call a helpline! they are there because they want to be! Call someone! Do not burden your normal friends! Call as often as you want! Yes! get it out! I do this all the Time! It has saved my life! Call 211! they have tons of numbers for helplines!

  • Thankyou for your video! I keep having temporary suicidal thoughts and watching this has calmed me down again! Im bp11. god bless you!
