Cass and Frankie on New Year's Eve 1992--Part 4

Felicia brought champagne for Cass and Frankie and non-alcoholic champagne for herself. Cass insists that the rest of them not drinking champagne is no big deal, but Felicia wants the others to celebrate in style. She has given up drinking, and she's around liquor all day at TOPS and has no interest in it. Felicia does, however, have some caviar, and Frankie tells Felicia that she and Christy are a lot alike in that they both have expensive taste. Felicia and Christy agree about decadence and elegance. When Christy asks who Felicia has lined up for her show in the new year, Felicia lies to the others that she's taking some time off from the show to finish her book and thank goodness Rachel went along with it. Douglas remarks on how Frankie is right about how much alike Christy and Felicia are, and how they both make a room come to life, and tells Felicia that Christy is a gifted actress. Frankie says she'll never get over missing Christy on Broadway, and Cass asks if Christy giving an impromptu performance right now would help. Frankie suggests that Christy do Ophelia, which Christy said was her favorite part, but Douglas likes Christy's Juliet better. Christy agrees to perform after having a moment to prepare. Douglas asks her if she'll right with this, and she tells him she'll be fine as long as she can look at him. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
