Im gonna get 2 jerboa mice this weekend ! only one thing that i'm worried about is my apartment doesn't have big space it's about 5 meters and i found in internet that they can jump like 4maters :[ The jerboa mice are about 4 months still babies...so i'm worried that if they r grown up they'll need more space to jump around. I plan to move out to bigger apartment next 6 months anyways but before that ??? ... can they jump around my room? :[ or i need to buy toys for them to excercise

from what i understand they can live up to 8 or 9 years if you take very good care of them...otherwise max is 5 if ur lucky. Cute little critters.

Gizmo is a Greater African Jerboa. She's not endanged but at the same time their population is not exactly thriving either. Technically they are banned in the US because they are imported African animals. Gizmo here was dumped at a pet store I frequent about 3 months ago and that is when I took her in.

how exactly do you take care of them? They don't drink water, they get their water from the bugs they eat

Nightly she got fresh leafy veggies like romain letuce (forgive my spelling there) or carrot sticks were another of her favorites.
