Gears of War Seriously Glitch Tutorial Post NXE

NOTE: I GOT ALL MY ACHIEVEMENTS LEGIT, SO DON'T THINK I HACKED THEM IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM.

This glitch is a bit more complicated for some ever since the NXE, but not for I, DrPepper23x.

You only need 1 controller for this glitch, and your Source Profile that has the Achievements should be on Auto-Sign in, with your 360 set so that when you turn it on, it goes straight to the game.

After booting up your 360, (I do this by turning on my controller so I don't forget by accident, lol) keep jamming the Guide Button while the "Xbox 360" screen is occurring. Eventually, you'll hear a little "whoosh!" - the sound of the guide opening. This typically happens before you can see the guide. After this happens, start pressing the X button.

If you press X quick enough, you'll get into the "Choose-Your-Account" screen. Highlight the account you want the Achievements on, and wait.

Your Source Profile is, in the meantime, signing in. The little bubble at the bottom will pop up; after waiting a few seconds, (about 1 second BEFORE it will disappear) press A to sign in the Secondary Profile.

ALTERNATIVE WAY

Sometimes people's accounts will simply sign in too fast. A way around this is to start up your Xbox 360 with the ethernet cable disconnected. (Tip: I find it to work better by plugging and unplugging the ethernet cable several times) then, after the little "xbox 360" loading screen is about to be done, plug in your ethernet cable and then hit the Guide Button.

This will cause a delay in your account's sign in speed because it can't properly establish a connection to Xbox Live, therefore giving you time to get to the "Choose-Your-Account" screen.

The same rules listed before follow.

You'll notice if you did it right because of the following signs (you do not need any except 1, which I note)
1. Your friends list will say nobody is online.
2. Your friends list on the secondary profile will be that of the Source Profile
3. Sometimes the main menu screen will lag for a few seconds.
4. Your Gamer Picture on the Secondary Profile will be that of the Source Profile.
***5. Your default characters AND audio/visual settings on the Secondary Profile will be that of the Source Profile.

After this, simply play one ranked game and get to the ending screen. (I.E. COG WON THE GAME) You do not have to win, or get a kill. Just finish. If the host quits, it won't count.

Does the source account need the achievements? I read the description, but me and my friend are still arguing about it. Thanks.

Yeah, the source account has to have the Achievements.

What the glitch does is, more or less, Copy and Paste the Source account's achievements to the secondary's.

Therefore, in order for it to work, the source profile must have the Cheeves.

I've been doing this for people for close to 3 years now.

Nobody I've ever done it to has been banned. Considering how glitchy the Achievements are (i.e., people getting Seriously at 3000 kills, etc.) AND that Gears 2 is already out, nobody really cares about Gears 1's Achievement Glitch.

tl;dr, just frowned upon, if someone ever found out, and they won't.
