  • @charlieisme123 A lot of Dustin's lyrics are written allegorically. I don't think he means to say that he literally would sell his mom for smack.

  • this is an amazing song and he is an amazing person. The lyrics of this song are close to me after getting in a terrible car accident, and after a phone call from my girlfriend, there was a signed Thrice poster ready for me once I came out of the coma. He is a great man and musician.

  • i heard dustin once beat the shit out of chuck norris...

    with his voice!

    true story.

  • dude clapping at 1:31, nice!!

  • why must there always someone who doesn't like that !?

  • the artist needs an ambulance huh? my guess is a paper cut or he ran with scissors

  • @ehood182 written from the perspective of the drug addict. thats obvious anyne who doesnt get that must have voted for george bush

  • @ehood182 I agree, all i'm saying is figuratively, he was describing a metaphore referring to the depth of his addiction to horrible things.

  • @fungusamongus4 "ignorantly quoted"? So this isn't HIS perspective? You're not making any sense. The only theory I believe from your character assassinating comment is carefully looking at his perspective.

  • yeah dude,

    you are really great!!!

  • @charlieisme123 One thing to carefully look at is perspective. You are assuming that he is writing from his perspective, but looking at more words than the one sentence you ignorantly quoted, you can see that the song is about vice, about sin.

Now that I've tasted blood, now this wine seems to thin.

  • that one sad sad person who missed the like button

  • @masenm1219

seems like it. thats what all the tabs have been saying.

its funny how the band plays the same songs different ways. ive heard this song and stare at the sun played with different tunings

but as far as the chords, yes.
