OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) recently announced the creation of the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) standard. Join Robert Griffin, Director of Solution Design at RSA, the Security Division of EMC, as he explains what KMIP is, how KMIP will be used and why KMIP is important to information security.

This is an excellent overview of how KMIP will expand the capabilities of key management software. KMIP will enable one server to manage a wider variety of encryption applications to enable centralized management. This will increase efficiency in key management and make securing data easier.
