  • Umar (radiAllahu anhu) made dua to Allah to become shaheed whilst residing in Medina during his life

  • so easy..why would Umar make such dua. He knew that when he died he would go to jennah. Since prophet Muhammad told him that he saw in a dream Umar's palace in jennah. Question? IF U KNEW U HAD A PALACE IN JENNAH? WOULDNT U WANT TO DIE? SO IF SOMEONE KILLED U, U WOULD BE HAPPY THAT UR TIME CAME? CAUSE THAT MEANS UR TIME IS COMPLETED AND ALLAH DECREE SUCH. AND SO UMAR WAS HAPPY WITH THE DECREE OF ALLAH. HE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO JENNAH. INSHALLAH.

  • no man knows what will become of them, and every messenger said the same thing..the prophets are men just like the rest of us, and the knowledge of the time and place of death for every individual is with Allah alone..please refrain from using such speech when speaking about the Messenger(saws) of God..

  • I have a sincere question. Allah (swt) accepted many prayers of Umar (ra) during his Caliphate and helped him through miracles. Why did not Umar (ra) ask Allah to fix his wound when he was stabbed?? Allah (swt) can change His decree through a slave's dua and that He Himself decrees that a slave will make dua. Why did not Umar (ra) make dua to Allah to cure him of his wound?

    Salam
