Just drove a brand spanking new ecoboost to St. Louis and back today, was not at all impressed with gas mileage. Was a bit over 4 hours round trip all interstate, had cruise set at 68mph and got 14mpg! What the heck? The computer said 16.5mpg but I topped it off before leaving and again when I got back and found different. Was really hoping to find a truck to replace my old beater 00 chevy 6.0 3/4 ton but don't see this as being my replacement truck.

you could tell the guy in the ford was not on the ball at take off and he was not even trying, either that or he doesn't know how to drive. I have driven both of these trucks and they both have a lot of balls from take off. I do not know who would win in an overall race, although I know they both get from 0-60 in around 6 seconds give or take a few and I do know that this video was staged for sure. Quit wasting peoples time and get a life.

@goodinsrt8 So we are finally in agreement. Of all stock 4x4 crewcabs, with 3:55 axles, ecoboost is fastest. Turbo's can be a replacement for displacement, especially when towing, and that a 2 Door, Small Cab Dodge R/T is faster than a 4x4 CrewCab Ecoboost.

@malkowskitube oh yea, if you look long enough, you can find 12 sets of specs for the same vehicle. look at rear end ratio, thats where it looses speed. and your still forgetting that that is naturally aspirated. and sure you might eventually find where the ford will win BUT this is what you said "Please show me a stock Dodge that will beat 6.2 0-60 and 14.76 1/4 stock. Put up or shut up". I did just that. and im not a dodge fanboy, i have 3 gm products in my driveway.
