i7, you mad bro?

My friend has a Llano based HP laptop and despite the specs not looking like it's meant to perform well, the thing runs great and I'm ordering the same one now.
It's got the dual 6620G + 6750m, with the CPU that changes from 1.5ghz quad to 2.4 ghz dual core.
He plays Battlefield 3 on the thing nicely. I'm impressed. It just works better than I expected for everything. I bought a few oversized netbooks (in the form of 15" laptops) using older Fusion tech and they're great. AMD did real good

@CorrodedCreation Damn Straight

@rosun82 Judging by this video. That seems like a good thing.

@brarautorepairs Please read the comment I am replying to before you reply to mine, my comment has nothing to do with AMD vs Intel, or Macs are better.

@rosun82 Poor people usually don't buy computers. They have more important things to have such as food and shelter. If you are really that much of an asshole that you think that AMD is for poor people you probably want to look up how much a AMD 8100 costs...
-
@CorrodedCreation Anyone can see the difference in 15 FPS and 60 FPS.
Why would you need to be poor to see a difference in performance.
Even if someone does have allot of money and they do buy a computer they want a good performing machine, right?
So I guess you are mad?

@MaseratiMC12R I don't understand what the importance of what CPU the Mac runs. There are many reasons why Mac would choose Intel over AMD. The main reason being that Intel has be practising non-competitive behavior. Intel has being paying computer makers not to use AMD processors. I doubt you will see a AMD process in a Mac ever. The other reason being that Mac's are sold on the PERCEIVED quality and use the INTEL name brand to help them seem high end. Remeber that Mac's are made by ASUS.

@rosun82 And Macs run on what processor? joke's on you bro
@rosun82 So I guess poor people are the only ones who see quality and performance

@dev21012 AMD offers a good balance between performance and cost, so it is ideal for someone not wanting to go all out on a higher cost PC. If you will look at some benchmarks of CPUs, an AMD Phenom II quad core processor will have about 5 fps less in most games then an i7. 5 fps is not worth 400 dollars to me
