These spice-rubbed strip steaks will be great for your next barbecue.
Step 1: Mix
Mix the peppercorns, dill seeds, red pepper flakes, coriander seeds, and salt in a small bowl.
Step 2: Rub on steaks
Rub the spice mixture on both sides of the steaks.
Extra rub mixture can be kept in an airtight container for later use.
Step 3: Prepare grill
Preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat or cover a charcoal grill until it's about 500 degrees. Oil the grate to create a nonstick surface.
Step 4: Grill
Grill the steaks until they're cooked to medium-rare, about eight minutes on each side.
Step 5: Transfer to platter
Transfer to a platter, cover with foil, and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
