Active Worlds running on a Cellphone

This it the Virtual Worlds Activeworlds running on my Treo 750. I am showing both the phone and the PC, which is acting as a virtualized sever. All movement and chatting in world is happening from the phone. I really think it is cool that I can stream a video in world and see it on the phone. Please note, that this Proof of concept, does not support sound or control beyond chatting, and zoom. I had to currently touch the screen in world via my PC to enable the video stream.

There is no mouse on the machine it is an Lenovo Thinkpad which uses a Trackpoint device.

For our POC you could see others and navigate around, but we didn't enable changing camera on the Treo.

Devicon, yes they are all still around. Check out what they've done with customizing your avatars and streaming websites and Flash. Great stuff going on at Activeworlds.

hi, I love this game have played it off and on for years, It is definately worth it. You can visit hundreds of different worlds and even make your own (have to buy one). The memberbiship is free unless you want to buy a ciitizenship for a set price for one year (cheap) Its a place you can visit lots of places and chat and do building too, if you want.
