Never said I was pinned for 3 seconds. I say about 3 because sometimes, although mostly consistent, some refs called pins in the blink of an eye and others apparently seemed to suffer from narcolepsy in the middle of the match. Calm down jeez.
Anyway, to continue:
Yes, wrestlers give their backs up in order to get back up. Going from flat on your back to standing might be possible but I would think it'd be extremely difficult even if your the biggest Beef Castle on the planet.
@SatoshiBatista well i have made a bad habit not to give the two given for a takedown. That doesn't sound too bad right? well let me tell you the full story. I strive to be offensive and rarely do kids hit the first shot on me but when they do my offence carries all the way from them covering my low ankles until they are around my neck holding me on my back for a 5 point move instead of 2. It's much easier to let them have 2 and reverse it than let them have all 5 points.
In wrestling you win win by pinning your opponent on the mat for about 3 seconds or points. When you get taken down in wrestling YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE ON YOUR BACK so it's either:
1. Get pinned
2. Give up 2 points and avoid a possible pin by spinning onto your stomach.

@ThatOGDon Pinned for 3 seconds? You obviously aren't a wrestler.

Wrestling isn't BEE JAY JAY.

But, it is a bad habit I carried over to BJJ.
Me: "Damn he got the double"
*rolls onto stomach. Gets choked*
"WTF?!"
