Up the creek bass tutorial

Just a quick tutorial (normal, slow and really slow examples)on how I play Temptations "Up the creek without a paddle". I use some double thumbing to get the feel, i dont think its played like that on the original, it could be normal slap or even played with a pick, not sure, but the most important part is getting the "vibe" right IMO.
Incidently I play Sly Stone's"Same thing" (search my videos) using the same technique - the basslines are quite similar anyway

Man, If I could play that I would be a happy man. But I still can't get the double thumbing techneque down. I've been practicing for hours and still can't get any rythme down. Its annoying, but I'm still trying. Thanks for upload, thats a really cool bassline.

I think you should make a bass guitar tutorial DVD. Or even a few maybe, you obviously have great knowledge and a great style that bass players can relate too and follow/learn easily from, so why not!

I wouldnt be surprised if you already had, or at least thought of the idea, but could be good for you, sell it online! i bet theyd fly!!
