Funny Lakeland Terrier puppy vs.cantaloupe

This is a little montage of videos of Eddie "Houdini," my parents' Lakeland Terrier, when he was a puppy.

Soo, our family has a small back yard, our last dog (I miss her so much) was a minature Schnauzer and she didn't shed much, she was lively and silly. I also dog sit for two adorable Airedales (one was put down) so I'm all sad and thinking I need myself a new little friend. Am I right in thinking that these little guys are the perfect match? They're small like Jasmine and resemble Airedales.

I'm so sorry to hear about your doggies. How sad!! This is my parents second Lakeland terrier. Full grown they're under 20 lbs, I believe. They don't shed and they are really sweet. They look like mini-Airedales. I definitely recommend them as pets. Active, but very sweet and loving!

You know; I always find it fascinating, how Lakies, Aireys, and Welshies, the classically Black and Tan ones, start out when they're kids, that they're almost all black all over. Then, when they grow up, all that black retreats to just the saddle, with a just a little black interspersed on the back of the neck, and the base of the tail. And the "tan" is actually a rich red, more of a firery red in the Welshies and Aireys.

Well now mom wants a schnoodle (schnauzer poodle) I'm still trying to convince her that these guys are perfect, although we promised first and for most to Jasmine's memory that we'd go to the pound and save a doggy on the red list. But I'm trying to get a Lakeland, I like their characters. ^w^
