@tmadams100 True - Let’s not forget the McMartin Preschool Trial, where frightened parents went on a witch-hunt and accused 8 innocent people of child sexual abuse. The belief among the fearful parents was one of hysteria toward people who’s lives were literally destroyed because of wrongful suspicions and false accusations.
We know abusing children is wrong on every level, but creating an environment of social hysteria is also wrong. Diligent caution should always prevail in these cases.

The empirical research does NOT show that gay or bisexual men are any more likely than heterosexual men to molest children. There is no scientific basis for asserting that they are more likely than heterosexual men to do so.
