  • I'm going to buy the new iMac 21,5'' with ATI Radeon HD 4670.

Should it be enough to play the game maxed out on bootcamp with a nice framerate?

One more stupid question: Is it even possible to think playing Dragon Age with VMware fusion and similars? :)

  • ATI Radeon HD 4670 should be fine for this game. VMware fusion doesn't have support for DirectX. I tried to play some games under Virtual OS, doesn't work at all.

  • Ah great choice! My mate tells me this game is good divorce material :) I have a 9600GT running on an older beast (AMD 3200+). I suspect I'll be ok on medium settings but not on anything else. BTW, I love your work, you always seem to be very thorough but also easy to follow :)

  • Thank you so much for your support.

  • nice ^_^

  • I can´t play a game at 15 fps. And when you are in a battle with many characters on screen that´s going to drop a lot. I am an apple user and piss me off that they build such great machines but they fail on graphic cards, always. On the other side sistem works so well, inmune to virus... only had to reinstall sistem once from 2006 and today, in 2011 it runs wonderfully with last version of Opertative system, try that on a pc... Anyway i like xbox360 games. But..NOT Dragon age!!

  • are you really having fun playing that way? i play with a macbook (2Duo 2,0 Ghz) and am getting at least an acceptable framerate with the lowest settings :) not ideal either, huh? xD

  • Hi, I have an imac 7,1 (ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO ) and recently started boot camp on it and I was wondering if i could play this game, since i read somewhere there are some light issues with it (red flickering light). Thanks for everything

  • Do you think I could play this on my MBP with the 9600M GT?

  • Do you know if VMware will ever have support for DirectX, or if Parallels does or any other virtualization software? I don't know exactly how this stuff works, but it seems odd to me that my hardware is capable of playing the Dragon Age character creator in Boot Camp just fine, but not at all in a virtual machine. :\

  • are u dumb? if you put anti as. off, you will surtenly get 30+ frames,,,, leave the rest on high

  • This was helpful, now I know NOT to get this for my Mac. Thanks.

  • Evidently your PC doesn't have spellcheck. My Mac corrects spelling as I type. Ass hat.

  • Thanks :)
