During World War 2 Quorn saw a lot of Troop trains heading North to Alice Springs. Troops were feed at Quorn in the CWA hut, which is now back were it was in 1940. This was done in conjunction with Port Adelaide Historic Military Vehicle Society & Pichi Richi Railway for "Australia Remembers" T 186 leading this train to Woolshed Flat & return looking very much like it would have in 1940's
