oooh i forgot to add, while the viper blows on curves. the exige wouldnt stand a chance on the straights. to bad mate. haha out of luck with them tricky curves

The Viper is great with curves just a bit tricky. Again I have a lot of experiance with my Viper and am an instructor at my track days. And if your watching the right Video the guy gives me the point by at the end.

Why would you bring a stock viper to the track? Get some decent coilovers to get rid of that horrible body roll...Then get yourself a 60" rear wing at least 14 inches high and some canards in front + front splitter/ rear diffuser. Then you will be able to actually take curves faster than a 1996 hyundai :P (I love the viper but unless its the ACR, you got a lot of work to do before its track worthy. Stock, its too easy to break traction in a curve..hence the needed downforce)

@early93viper Great driving, if you didn't overheat you could have taken him. It looked like you stay with him in the bends too, something for a big car like the Viper, vs a light car with a big wing on the back for downforce. Do you know why you overheated?

This video is good evidence of how good lotus performance is. Even though the viper is a lot faster in top speed and accelaration. This is just an Elise, very low rank model from lotus, see how an exige makes this car look, and lotus's can achieve what they achieve with economy levels of fuel compared to say the vipers. And probably wear out slower due to lighter weight. Lotus are awesome
