Timmy G. is Hung Out to Dry

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has been blamed for the poor reaction by Wall Street to the President's Bailout Plan (at least the little we've been allowed to see.)

Had people reacted with optimism to the plan, Barack Obama would be showered with praise and be given full credit. But, instead Obama's name is hardly mentioned in the news stories on the Bailout bust.

Obama isn't reinventing the wheel , every President acts this way when the "fit hits the shan," so honestly it's not change, just more of the same politics as usual.

i couldn't even listen to "Timmy G"speak, how can anyone trust him to run anything. Between him and Obama, I don't know which one looks the most lost.

Interesting video. I just think obama is trying to dumb down expectations now that he is in power. Where as when he was running he wa spotrayed as the second coming of messiah and that hell fix everything in a month. Now that he is in power he knows he won't live up to the hype and that he needs to lower expectations .

Obama want's to be Bill Clinton, look at everyone he appointed cabinet positions to.

Timmy G. isn't very good. Or whoever is pulling the strings isn't that good. He asked China to raise the value of their Yuan in a recession. So they lowered it. Nobody would talk to him after that. The WSJ has an article saying that Timmy G and Bernanke "aren't married, they're good friends". Now I'm worried, lower interest rates are not the solution for this economy.

actually BAM! said there were no earmarks and he's correct. Technically speaking, earmarks are not the same as pork. But the stimulus is loaded with pork.
