Thats beautiful dude, weldone! Achbar that looks like it's got a protective plaster coat on to me. I do this sort of work in the UK and I much prefer an earth and lime plaster mix compared to just a pure lime plaster, it has a much nicer feel, finish and is just as protective once painted with a lime wash.

I like the sauna, it looks low cost for the most part, but could he have coated that sauna with some sort of lime plaster?

how do you protect the sauna from the rain apart from having a roof above? i absolutely love your sauna/bedroom/little manly cave thing :P
