  • Thanks for the tips and I totally agree.I have half the years and probably half the miles, well on street at least.I dont think I even draged a knee or had it above 65 for the most part on the whole ride.I ride to live not to die like some of these riders out there. If I want to go all out I'll go do a track day.

  • It took me a sec to figure out that you started out on HWY 138 and then through the "Narrows"...good footage, thanks for taking the time to share!

  • Yep you right. My mistake

  • Ive ridden hard for 14 years and 163,000 miles by following 5 simple rules, the second of which is NEVER RIDE TO YOUR LIMIT ON THE STREET. Guess what? Not that it came as a surprise but of the 5 videos I viewed of someone slopping their way up and down the 18, 4 totaled their bikes and 1 died. Dunno about this guy. Hopefully he was luckier. I lived in Arrowhead for two years and the avg # of motorcycle FATALITIES during that time was 7. .... =(

  • Uhh ya I DO think they were trying, in fact they were pushing it as hard as possible. Have you even been up Hwy 18? It's not one entire straight away. I can easily hold with bikes on corners and depending on their power displacement sometimes on the straights. Did I say specifically that I can overtake a CBR 1000 on the straights or something along those lines?
