I know, right? They must have really good coordination!

I don't know a damn thing about farming but those guys sure as hell seem to have their shit together. That looks about as efficent a way to harvest corn as you can get. Is this how a harvest goes normally, or are they having a good day? Or, is there such a thing as a normal harvest?

hes upping the throttle to keep up with him in the combine. since moisture levels and weeds in places arent the same throughout the field or maybe rocks in the way of the header, etc. combine can slow down without messing with the rpms..the tractor with the grain cart can not. and trust me if you take off your focus for a split second in the grain cart things can change fast. maybe he dozed off or something caught his attention then he realized oh crap hes catching me.

@ureonmyhitlist my guess is going down that little hill he thorotled back, then he gouged on it..the thing about turbo diesels is its the turbo has to spull up and at that point the turbo hadnt spulled up,,if u notic it cleared up after a second,,(ie the turbo spulled up so it got adiquit air to fuel ratio)..and id bet u money your john deere puffs out some black smoke when its under a load like this
-
@volff130 Not like that on flat ground.
-
@ureonmyhitlist its a diesel,they all smoke,espesully with that type of a load going up a hill! period
-
@kenworth9999 That's what... a 200 horse tractor? I know a Deere wouldn't smoke like that.
-
@ureonmyhitlist oh yeah, probably because it was a small hill with an increasing load, cause the smoke was black witch basically means power.
-
@kenworth9999 Other then the good stuff. At :26 and 1:20 and 1:30, theirs smoke.
-
