  • Note: This is a scene from the 1985 award-winning Persian film, "Golhaye Davoudi" (Mum Flowers, or Chrysanthemums), directed by Rasoul Sadr Ameli. It was one of the first instances, when a film score -- and not songs -- gained wide-spread recognition among Iranian public. It opened up a new era of film compositions for many films made after 1979. The music was composed by Kambiz Roshanravan, and the piano part was recorded by the famed pianist and pedagogure, Farman Behboud (1946-2010).
