(Review written by Adam "Soul Horse" Song, the Hernandez brothers' coach)
Israel fought another tough Marine from Jacksonville as well. This fight more or less speaks for itself...Israel was very hyped up to do well, with his friends and family in the audience, and was super hungry for the win. The Marine (sorry, i didn't get his name, no disrepsect intended) came out fast, but I could tell by his stance that he was not a striker or a wrestler, but a BJJ guy. After a few shots landed, the Marine shot in for a hard takedwon, and got Israel partially down with a double leg. However, Israel trained super hard at Ring Lords with standing up from this position, and stood up well. He landed a very good knee against the fence, which made the Maring shoot in even harder. This time, Israel defended the takedown, landing some hard, annoying shots while he defended against the fence. Staying committed to the takedown, he tried to circle Israel off the fence to complete the double leg, but Israel sprawled well. Israel looked bigger and stronger than his opponent, and hed him down, and moved to Ring Lords' favorite position...the ground and pound from back side control (wrestler's position). He landed the telling shots of the fight there, and the Marine went to spin into his guard, but Israel moved, and got side control. Landed a good knee, listened to Adam in his corner and mounted, proceeded to land good shots. The Marine kept defending well, and tried to spin out from the position, but Israel kept top control, and got his back with hooks in. The Marine was not able to escape from this position, and Israel landed dozens of unanswered blows, eventually flattening out his opoonent, until the ref stopped the fight.
Israel at the end of the fight, "I just want to say thank you to my master, right here (pointing to Adam), (and in spanish) "And thank you, this belt is for the Hispanics...keep coming to see the fights!".
