King of the Courts Handball's finest go at it.

This video shows the 2 best one wall big blue handball players competing against one another in the biggest tournament of the year (King of the Courts) in July 2008.

This is the final game in a tournament that featured over 60 of the best handball players in New York City.
The tall player in black shorts is John Wright, aka Rookie, the 35 year old handball legend who has dominated the sport for the last 10 years and has Michael Jordan-like status in the handball world. He has starred in Subway commercials playing handball and is known instantly when he walks onto any handball court in new York City.

His challenger is Justin Ritchie, aka "A Player" Justin who at just 22 years old is considered Rookie's successor to the crown.

The content was filmed by me on the last Saturday in July 2008 at Edison High School handball courts with a flip mino camera.

The tight-knit handball community,who has virtually no sponsorships or tv airtime, waits all year for the final showdown on who becomes this year's King of the Court.

why is it people making excuses for rookie loss? he's limping, he's not serious, etc. If a player feels that he is not physically up to the challenge of competing or not in the proper competitive frame of mind, then do not step on the court. excuses no longer exist once you step on court. so dont diminish 2 great competiters in this sport by this attitude.
