Dr. Scott Peck was on her show once and talked about sacrifice, self denial, breaking through the "false self". You know, submission to a higher power, the hard stuff. Oprah had this glazed look on her face like she just could NOT wrap her mind around it.

sure there have been "SOME" evil people that misinterpreted the bible and koran, and took words out of context for their evil gains, I understand, but the key word here is "SOME", not a lot or near everyone. fact of the matter is the average person out there was a good person, and learned the importance of values and contributing as a whole to society and bringing out their unique gifts to society, also everything work related today or function RELATES TO THE BIBLE down to morals and holidays.
