You don't have to be sorry for it - I am a hockey player first and foremost.
But it was sad I had to stop playing - I was getting really good. As you may have understood from my speech, I force the play over and over. Somewhen, all those missed powerful shots become winners. Even scared my friend a couple of times. I was able to drive myself through the ball with all power and weight when he led me space. It was getting strategical and very nice to play.

His modest pace seems to be really messing with your ground strokes. I have learned that when playing very modest paced guys, you have to add a flat shot somewhere in the exchange. It puts pressure on them to return and forces them out of their game and straight into your game.

HAHAHAH that's an excellent observation...but the problem is this court has crevices, cracks, and patches plus it was like glass--the court is CRAZY fast... and that's the problem I was having, the doubles match we played later was better

You begin to make me think of Davidenko, but with a single handed backhand. Never too exaggerated; always put the ball in and makes it hard to attack. Not defensive, neither offensive. Nothign spectacular, yet it seems to work. I have seen you better though a couple of times.
But now I am in hockey - winter is coming soon in my country and an arena at 5 bucks for 90 minutes of public play cannot be refused : ).
Continue your work. You have at least help one guy out - me.
