  • shenae grimes and lucy hale are completely cut out,why man?

  • @dylanimal69

Personally, I felt it added nothing to the film. It just ended up being extended filler for a joke that played way too long in the theatrical cut and lead into one of the most generic and disappointing "real" openings to a film in the Scream series. That's not to diss the actresses in the "Stab 6" opening as they did well. It's just it added nothing to the table in the long run. Also, they aren't entirely cut... Watch the "anti party" scene later in the film a bit closer. ;)

  • Also, when I say one of the most generic & disappointing "real" openings in the Scream series, I mean in the theatrical cut version. I honestly like the alternate version where there is no true call from Ghostface and he strikes when Marnie & Jenni are pranking each other which brings in the doubt if it is real at first.

  • It might not have the "extravagant" chase down into a garage that the theatrical version had but I will take something that had actual punch to it over something empty that was glossied up to feel important. That's my opinion on it anyhow.

  • Also, I was trying to pay homage to the opening of the original Scream where you see the Dimension Films logo, then hear screaming as the title card for the film appears. If you don't like the change, I do apologize but I do have my reasons for doing so which I have listed. Hope you can appreciate where I come from.

  • @HP1818 I dont get how u can say Britt was more believable. He character was so bla. Teegarden brought it in both the alternate and real version. Especially that chilling scream. i forgot all about Britt.

  • Geez! This is how I wanted the theatrical cut to start. The opening we got was way too generic with zero character development. No offense to Teegarden but Britt Robertson was by far the most believable, she rocked the alternate opening. I actually cared for Jenny in that version and Marnie it had *gaps* character development. I really didn't like the Stab 6 opening it was way too predictable but the Stab 7 did catch me off guard. I love Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell.

  • this version i like better!! granted, i love the scream series, but some of this deleted scenes would have made scre4m better if they had stayed in tact. great work!!
