  • @AngusShanks Very cool indeed!

  • @8DoverNJ Thanks man, I had seen one of them before. How cool would it be seeing those two play live!

  • @AngusShanks Gilmour and Townshend played together on Pete's 'White City' album. There's a couple of videos of them on youTube. Here's one: /watch?v=LeXf90OGTHE&feature=related

Hey, thanks for the response. Long live The Who!!

  • man, cant find one where he is not yakkin for ever. the kids are alright if petes not around!

  • @CallMeLightning905 lets see action was on townsends first solo album 71 or 72

  • @8DoverNJ Ha! I just watched an interview with Robert Plant and he was asked The Beatles or The Stones and I thought say the fucking Who Robert ! He picked The Stones. Of course Peter has said he never liked a single thing Lez Zep ever did but liked all the guys in the band. I thought was he was a bit harsh but he's Peter Fucking Townshend so I forgive him. David Gilmour Jimmy Page and Peter Townshend. The Holy Trinity.

  • It' was on "Who Came First"

  • @8DoverNJ HaHa! well it IS in fact The Beatles. But when The Who are playing, they certainly drown out all the competition! They are the 3rd part of Rock's holy Trinity. And that's quite an accomplishment!

  • Whenever some f#$k asks which band is the best, The Beatles or the The Stones, just answer THE WHO!!!!! Dammit!!!!

  • @ryanmooney92 it's on both the expanded version of "Who's Next" and on Townshend's solo album "Who Came First"?
