  • that was badass dude..!

  • @masterthoj Thanks Thoj, truly it is not so hard.... practice until a sense of proper distance, grip & timing of release becomes intuitive....

let no thought intrude upon your intent....do not think, just do....guiding the projectile into the target with follow through.

I recommend a brief moment of meditation before practice, as balance within begets balance without...so within is where your discipline should begin. Meditation, is simply the objective observation of thoughts in formation.

  • That's not a Paul chen is it???

  • @saltyninja01 No, it is a very crude sword that was homemade about 30 years ago. nothing pretty about it.....seriously...it is a "throw away" weapon....

lol ok that was not that funny.... but you get the point :)

  • You oughta make a vid where you do it successfully 5 times in a row, to show that it's a plausible technique.

  • @LordOfTheGnus True combat practice puts utmost emphasis & importance on the very 1st throw, as in combat it is that 1st throw that truly matters. Yes, competency begets consistency yet .. people fight as they train, so i train in the most realistic way i can, & so i never perform the exact same throw even two times in a row, because i would never do that in real combat. Also i am long past the point of needing to "prove" myself. Although i do enjoy training everyday to improve myself, TC

  • @teagm003 And bad swords in Japan weren't tempered as much as a good sword, as it takes a master smith to temper them properly, so the badly tempered swords looked straight next to a good sword.

  • Hmm... This is a cool party trick, but not a very good thing to try in a 'real battle scenario'.

You don't really want to throw your sword at someone unless you're very close, and you have another weapon to use after; people block shuriken, think how easy it would be to block a sword. Also, the Ninjato never really existed, the myth came from the fact that good Samurai had good swords, and good Samurai didn't let their swords get stolen, so when a ninja stole a sword, they were bad swords...

  • @xaedmon Whatever you throw that sword at certainly gets "the point" ;)

Haha, I'm ten months late with that joke!

  • TEACH...ME...EVERYTHING... YOU KNOW!!!

  • @xaedmon ok :)
