Annie Lennox Daily Record Hero Award Acceptance Speech

On May 13th 2011 at a ceremony in Glasgow Annie Lennox was honoured with a Daily Record Our Hero Award in recognition of her ongoing charity work including her continued commitment to the fight against HIV and AIDS. Annie was unable to attend the event in person but accepted the award via a short video message.

Too many of us are so consumerised that we leave all gastronomic preparations to the super-market. Not I...I grow my own and prepare my own...All of this has nothing to do with the work of Annie Lennox.

you made a valid point about egos though, joni mitchell said in an interview that things like Live Aid, etc. only serve to make gods of the people who front them, rather than do any real good for the cause they purport to support or endorse, with things like aid taking waaaaay too long to reach the victims, if at all what with the red tape, etc.... peace man...!

@lebartonne I am not a hater I love her voice and music, and have said so in my comments of her other videos. You call me a hater, well I can only say that it takes one to call one
