http://www.midwestheadaches.com Have constant headaches? It might be because of your bite.
How the jaw fits is often different from where the teeth fit together. There is muscle strain as the jaw muscles have to struggle to accommodate the bad bite. This results in neck ache, head ache, ear pain and other symptoms. It can also result in jaw popping, clicking, joint pain, jaw joint strain that is called TMJ syndrome.

  • I'd like to have a good bite and be free from tmj.

  • @cactimargie

    I hope you do to.

I wish you all the best.

You may want to read some of the case histories on MidwestHeadaches. com

  • Thank you, Dr. Raman, for confirming that a bad bite can cause TMJD. Mine was caused by bruxism (teeth-grinding) after a crown. I did not see another dental professional for years, and now I'm paying the price of TMJD, which some dentists have denied was caused by my bite. I waited too long to take care of my bite and now nobody believes me.

There is so much lack of knowledge among denitsts and physicians. I hope you get your condition corrected before it gets even worse. You may read some case histories on MidwestHeadaches. com

  • hell when i was a kid one day in class i was moving my jaw side to side then crack and i was like what the hell? and up until now my jaw dont click on its own but i can click my jaw if i want and i do it quite frequently i learned this when i was 10 and shit ive been doing it till now and sometimes it hurts sometimes it doesnt sometimes its easier to pop and sometimes it isnt to popmy jaw i push my hand into the mandible it seems to like relieve pressure from my jaw and its easier to move around

  • @358lin From experience, I've found there are a lot of incompetant dentists. Because if they make a mistake there's nothing we can do. My mouth has a series of dental mistakes. I don't like it but there's nothing I can do but suffer with tmj.

I am glad that you found this useful. There is so much lack of knowledge about TMD even among dentists. I hope you get your condition addressed before it gets even worse. I wish you all the best.
