hell when i was a kid one day in class i was moving my jaw side to side then crack and i was like what the hell? and up until now my jaw dont click on its own but i can click my jaw if i want and i do it quite frequently i learned this when i was 10 and shit ive been doing it till now and sometimes it hurts sometimes it doesnt sometimes its easier to pop and sometimes it isnt to popmy jaw i push my hand into the mandible it seems to like relieve pressure from my jaw and its easier to move around

@358lin From experience, I've found there are a lot of incompetant dentists. Because if they make a mistake there's nothing we can do. My mouth has a series of dental mistakes. I don't like it but there's nothing I can do but suffer with tmj.

I am glad that you found this useful. There is so much lack of knowledge about TMD even among dentists. I hope you get your condition addressed before it gets even worse. I wish you all the best.

Thank you, Dr. Raman, for confirming that a bad bite can cause TMJD. Mine was caused by bruxism (teeth-grinding) after a crown. I did not see another dental professional for years, and now I'm paying the price of TMJD, which some dentists have denied was caused by my bite. I waited too long to take care of my bite and now nobody believes me.
