  • Yes, the surface area of your picks is too rough and needs to be polished. The quickest and easiest way to do this is to rub them on your "leather" banjo strap. This is a handy way to polish your picks and can be done in the middle of a jam or show.

  • I don't understand how thats a lesson. It didn't show you how to play, just what you could play if you could play a banjo.

  • These videos are purely a demonstration of licks, and techniques that we are teaching on our banjo site. There you will find tablature and lessons in text, audio and video format. Thanks for the question.

  • YYYYYYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

  • why do you prefer 4 string over 5 string?

  • try to intuit it; kids pick up their native language just by listening, so why can't we newbie pickers pick up pickin' jes' by listenin'?

    Yagorumparin!

  • when i play banjo i get a high pitched sound from the picks on the strings does anyone have any tips on how to stop that?

  • thanks

  • what is this song and where can i get the tablature

  • Yes, if you HAD a banjo, you could look at the riff's. notes and finger-settings, and work it all out easy. anyway its an Ad, don't hate, it's an outtake anyway.. Youtube, and most of the rest of american videosites is all about hating these days...

  • Also, some more seasoned players can pick this stuff up just listening and watching it a few times...so in thier case this is very helpful and cool! Keep learning, and these will come much easier.

  • Thank you for the free banjo lesson. Always useful for me.
